Sigonella Elementary PTO

PTO Members - it’s almost the end of the school year and it’s time to elect our board for the 2012-2013 school year. We are soliciting nominations President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary. If you are interested in serving in any of these positions please contact our Nomination Committee chair Lucia Saperstein at luciamorgan@yahoo.com. The election for all positions will be held at a general meeting of all PTO members on Wednesday, June 6th at 2:45 in room 106 at SES. Thanks for all the great support this year!

Sigonella Elementary School’s Accreditation visit begins next Monday and we need your help to make it a success!  The Accreditation team is holding a parent focus group on Tuesday, April 24th at 1200 in the Information Center.  If you are available please come and make your voice heard - all parents with children attending SES are invited and highly encouraged to attend.

Registration is MANDATORY for ALL students planning to attend Sigonella schools this fall.

Registration requirements:

o        Kindergarteners must turn 5 years old before September 1, 2012
o        Birth Certificate for 1st grade and under
o        Orders must be current.  Additional documentation is required for rotation dates after July 2012.   
o        Updated Immunizations as necessary. 
o        If your Projected Rotation Date (PRD) has changed from your original orders, you will need to go to PSD to get a new Page 13 which will reflect your new rotation date

The March Sigonella Elementary PTO meeting will be held in Room 106 at the Elementary School at 2:45 tomorrow, Wednesday, March 7th.  We need as much participation as possible as we will be discussing a number of important topics, including plans for the Spring Carnival!  Look forward to seeing everyone there!!
